 OVERNIGHT CAMP | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Check in for overnight campers will begin on Tuesday, June 19, at 7:30am in Hoffman Hall. Campers will register in the lobby of the dorm and then take all of their overnight belongings to their assigned room. After they drop everything off parents will then drive them over to the Veterans Memorial Softball Field.

For Check out parents will pick up camper from Veterans Memorial Softball Field on Thursday, June 21st at 4:00pm and then take them over to Hoffman Hall to pick up overnight belongings and check out in lobby.

  • TWIN sized sheets
  • Blanket and/or Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Bath Towel(s)/Wash cloth
  • Shower Items (Shampoo, Soap, etc)
  • Snacks / Coolers are allowed in the dorm

On Tuesday, June 20th, we will be taking overnight campers to the Turks Baseball Game at the JMU Baseball Stadium (right next to the Softball stadium) following dinner in the cafeteria. Campers may want to bring a little bit of cash with them in case they want to buy a snack from the concession stand during the game (TICKETS ARE PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE!). On Wednesday, June 21st, we will be playing games at the fields.

There are 2 campers per room. The rooms are divided by a bathroom so 4 people will share the same bathroom. You can absolutely request roommates and suitemates.

Coach Herzig and Coach LaPorte will be the primary supervisors in the dorm. There will also be JMU Players that will be staying in the dorm. We will be doing room checks and lights out every night at 10:00pm.
